Kyoung Update: New York

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to send a quick email to everyone and let you know that I’ll be traveling to New York from Dec. 20th to Feb. 26th. I got a scholarship from my university to do field research in New York for my Master’s thesis. I will be interviewing members of the Nobel Peace-prize nominated “September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows,” an organization dedicated to peace advocacy in New York. As you can tell by the name of their organization, there are a lot of September 11th families doing some very interesting work towards peace, rather than war, and I’m honored to go there and meet with them.

For my friends in New York: This is also a really great opportunity to go see you! So open up your date books and let me know if we can have coffee, brunch, dinner, lunch, what-not. My schedule is pretty open starting Jan. 3rd. And once I start scheduling my interviews with the September 11 families I’m expecting to get much busier. So let me know when we can catch up!

Hope everyone’s doing well!

Peace,

Kyoung
